In 1976, the schoolbus parts market increases considerably. The Girardin parts department is then relocated to cover a 7 000 sq ft surface. In 1979, needing larger premises, important extension works were done to get a 20 000 sq ft parts warehouse in order to store more than 2 Million $ of parts. |

In 1995, the parts department changes his look by adding a large showroom with stalls displayed like most of big department stores. |
| Today, the Girardin Blue Bird warehouse has reached over 30,000 sq.ft., offering more than 10 000 different part numbers and 1 000 parcels being shipped every week. Because of its new computerized shipping system, the parts department guarantees deliveries the next day all over the province of Quebec, the province of Ontario and Eastern Canada. |
