Sales Coordinator

Reporting to the Vice President, Sales and Service, the Sales Coordinator for new vehicles will be responsible for making all price bids on and purchases of Blue Bird and Micro Bird vehicles in accordance with the established procedures. The incumbent will help carry out the company's mission in keeping with its approach, values and objectives

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze representatives’ requests and respond to calls for tender with the designated representative
  • Submit bids on vehicles (bodies and chassis) after reviewing the options
  • Complete competitive allowance (CA) requests when required for government institutions or large-volume clients
  • Produce price requests to submit to other suppliers (air conditioning, 4x4 conversion, etc.)
  • Request floor plans for certain tenders and minibus shells
  • Submit discount requests
  • Record counts of the vehicles with the prices and discounts received from different suppliers and update the tenders to provide representatives with new pricing and vehicle specifications
  • Make orders following confirmation from representatives
  • Coordinate transactions with subcontractors (adding air conditioning, 4x4 conversion, etc.)
  • Create new orders in the WEB order system 
  • Allocate vehicles to the representatives with confirmed dates
  • Check suppliers'RFD vehicule reports daily and process payments in accordance with established agreements
  • Prepare vehicle movements using a provided report per GOI location and the Micro Bird “Daily Status Report”
  • Coordinate delivery delays with the suppliers and representative
  • Provide follow-up with Autobus Girardin for inter-subsidiary vehicles (Interco and travel contract)
  • Manage vehicle inventories with management
  • Verify basic model specifications for the SFO annually with the Sales Director
  • Attend meetings when required
  • Support the department's continuous improvement and strategic planning initiatives
  • Help meet departmental profit targets
  • Support the collective efforts of the department and the company as a whole
  • The incumbent may be required to take on other responsibilities within their skill set as needed or at the request of their immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College diploma in administration or another related discipline
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Solid command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), ERP and CRM
